Certification Training

Entrepreneurship Skills

Our goal is to accommodate 18 students in the class. Throughout the 18-week course, you will learn to leverage your classmates as valuable resources. Whether you have an interest in hardware, software installation, configuration, technical writing, cable construction, or any other area, you will be able to identify your strengths and collaborate with one another.

Additionally, you will learn how to establish a business and understand the differences between a sole proprietorship, LLC, LLP, S-Corp, and corporation. We will assist you in obtaining one of these types of business classifications.

Job placements with Military Sealift Command for certified students.

Should you acquire a certification through our teaching, we have opportunities for those that are interested as an RET1 with MSC. The base pay is 65k with a 48K signing bonus, which will be paid up front with a commitment of two years. This is a civilian position where you'll be onboard ship providing desktop services for only 6 months! With over time, you can take home in six months totalling nearly 6 figures.

Ever wondered what an IP address is?

We will teach you exactly what and IP address is, as it's essential in order for a computer to join networks and utilize resources within a network.

Computers read in zeros and ones only. We teach Binary, Octal and Hexi-decimal conversion. We will teach you how to create segments and how the server and router and firewall work in unison to protect the network from threat agents. Oh...we make it fun! Come on in where the Math IS Mathing!

WE ARE A BRICK AND MORTAR BUSINESS...MEANING ALTHOUGH WE CAN ARRANGE FOR ONLINE COURSES IF YOU'D LIKE, BUT WE ARE OLD SCHOOL AND WE WOULD RATHER YOU COME IN AND GET THAT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE FACE TO FACE.

You will discover the essential tools required for the trade, handling and manipulating a pair of snips, cable testers, and fiber modules, and even inserting the fiber card into a desktop computer. You will learn to terminate a category 5/6/7/8 box with RJ45 connectors. Next, you will route the cable back to the switch, terminate it at the patch panel, and create a cable that connects from the patch panel to the switch. After that, return to the start of the line to build another cable, terminate it, and link the computer to the wall jack that you constructed and assembled to establish a connection to the network. You will inspect the device and start troubleshooting in case the computer and cable are not terminated correctly. A knowledgeable professional will be present to ensure you feel confident in your practical skills.

You will be building a computer from scratch, which includes installing the motherboard, CPU, heat sink, and any other necessary components. Once the computer is assembled according to specifications, you will install and configure the Microsoft Windows operating system. After that, you'll prepare the computer to connect to the network that you set up, and then join it to the domain.

We will be with you every step of the way. Remember the rules: if you touch it, we will explain it. When you pick up the motherboard, we'll provide details about it, and you'll also have reading materials to review. Additionally, you will be tested on what you learn!
